Summary
Andy, a cell phone salesman, was conned into investing in a fake Cuban nightclub. Michael helps Andy when the loan sharks he borrowed from come knocking.
Our Take
A fairly standard client-of-the-week setup, but the con plot is fun and Michael’s tactics feel clever without being ridiculous. The stuff with Andy works better than expected because the guy is sympathetic rather than purely pathetic. The ongoing spy storyline barely moves, which is a letdown. Solid, watchable, forgettable. Fine if you’re already along for the ride.
