Summary
Jaime faces judgement and Winterfell prepares for the battle to come.
Our Take
This is the quiet hour before everything goes loud, and mostly it earns the stillness. The knighting of Brienne is the season’s best moment by a mile, genuinely moving without trying to be. Some of the farewell scenes drag and a few pairings feel like box-ticking, but the dread hanging over Winterfell keeps it together. Worth it for that fireside scene alone.
