Summary
When Leslie discovers her daughter, Didi, has an imaginary friend, she enlists the help of Gary to hunt him down and destroy him. This time, it’s personal.
Our Take
A solid mid-season entry that leans on the show’s usual trick of treating an absurd premise with total dead seriousness. The Gary and Leslie pairing works well, and there’s a genuinely funny bit about how imaginary friends age that I’m still thinking about. It runs out of ideas in the back half though, ending on a gag you can see coming a mile away. Fine for fans, nothing special otherwise.
