Summary
The kids of The Apex raid a musical car before descending on a village of unsuspecting turtles – but before they can complete their mission, leaders Grace and Simon are separated from the pack under mysterious circumstances.
Our Take
A grim, effective season opener that trades the show’s usual mystery beats for mob mentality, with the Apex kids functioning as a genuinely unsettling little cult. The musical car is a fun setup, but the real hook is watching Grace and Simon lose control, and the new One-One voice casting takes some getting used to. Worth your time if you liked the darker turn of season two.
