Our Take
A carnival episode that’s less about the games and more about watching Jesse get played, and knowing he’s going to keep getting played. The Cat remains one of the show’s best antagonists, and the rigged games work as a neat little pressure test for the partnership. It’s a middle-of-the-road hour for this season, but it earns its emotional beat near the end.
