While exploring some futuristic ruins, Susan sees glimpses of a familiar girl.
Our Take
This is the emotional core of the Islands arc, finally filling in Susan’s past through some genuinely sad flashback material. The futuristic ruins look great, and the pacing gives the revelations room to land instead of rushing through them. It’s a quieter hour than the chase episodes around it, but that restraint is exactly why it hits as hard as it does. Worth your time, easily.
