Our Take
This is a slow, cozy middle chapter that leans on atmosphere over plot, and honestly it mostly works. Whipple is a fun one-off character even if his emotional turnaround feels a bit rushed, and the ocean scenery gives the mini-series some needed breathing room between bigger beats. Not much happens, but the quiet stretches feel intentional rather than filler. Worth it if you’re already on board for the Islands arc.
