Summary
When Ice King’s magic crown goes haywire, marceline and Princess Bubblegum resort to extreme measures to help him.
Our Take
A quiet, oddly sweet episode that leans on the Marceline and Bubblegum pairing, and their chemistry carries most of it. The crown malfunction stuff is more melancholy than funny, which works given Ice King’s sad backstory, though the middle stretch drags a bit. Not a standout, but a nice character hour for fans of the three leads.
