Naruto Shippuden has 500 episodes and 203 of them, about 41 percent, are filler. That is the heaviest filler load of any major anime, and it is the single biggest reason people abandon the show. Cut the list below and you save yourself roughly 100 hours while losing nothing that the manga actually wrote.

The Filler Actually Worth Keeping
A few stretches earn their runtime: 347 to 361, Kakashi: Shadow of the ANBU Black Ops, is a genuine origin story that fans universally recommend. Episodes 388 to 390 (Gaara and the Hyuga sisters) are warm character pieces. 416 and 417 give Kakashi and Obito context that makes later scenes hit harder. 429 to 431 are fun Jinchuriki side stories, and the 480 to 483 childhood sendoffs near the end are a lovely palate cleanser before the finale.
The Episodes Nobody Should Skip
Everything else, and especially: the Kazekage Rescue opening, the Hidan and Kakuzu arc, the Pain assault (one of the greatest stretches in anime), the Five Kage Summit, and the entire war through the final Naruto and Sasuke fight.
Watch time saved: about 100 hours.
