Summary
When one of her oldest adversaries targets the Ice Kingdom, Marceline rushes to Simon’s rescue.
Our Take
This is a solid middle chapter that leans on atmosphere more than momentum. The vampire hunt stuff moves slowly, and some of the dialogue circles the same emotional beats we’ve already hit this miniseries. Still, the quiet character moments land well, and the animation during the Ice Kingdom scenes is genuinely creepy. Worth watching if you’re already invested in Stakes, though it won’t convert anyone on the fence.
