Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Once a month, while Jake’s asleep, his tail stretches out of the treehouse to go work as a clown in a travelling bug circus.
Our Take
A strange, melancholy little side trip that barely features Finn or Jake, instead following Jake’s tail through a bug circus with an unexpectedly heavy emotional arc. The whole thing plays like a sad fable, and while the bug-sized stakes shouldn’t work on a show this big, the loneliness of the tail clown genuinely lands. Worth a watch if you like the weirder, sadder Adventure Time experiments.
