Summary
Tired of all of Princess Bubblegum’s talk about “responsibility,” Lemonhope yearns for true freedom. So he sets off on the greatest adventure of his lemony life.
Our Take
Lemonhope gets a moody, surprisingly melancholy hour that plays more like a slow character study than a typical Adventure Time romp. The dreamy pacing and sparse dialogue give it real weight, though the story mostly just sets the table for Part II, which can make it feel like half an episode. Worth it for the atmosphere alone, but expect to leave hungry.
