Blade of Grass

Episode Summary & Review

Summary

Finn and Jake decide it’s time for Finn to get a new sword. Finn reluctantly buys a grass sword from a mysterious old man, but the sword turns out to be cursed! And unfortunately for our hero, all sales are final.

Our Take

A quiet little episode that builds an oddly creepy mood, with the cursed grass sword giving Finn some genuinely unsettling moments. The humor lands in small doses, like the apathetic shopkeeper, but the real draw is how the show plays it straight as a slow-burn horror story. Worth your time, especially for where this sword eventually leads.
