Summary
Princess Bubblegum believes magic is nothing but a bunch of hooey, but when Starchy gets sick and asks her to use magic to cure him, she asks Finn and Jake to help her sneak into Wizard City to get a cold spell.
Our Take
A fun premise that pits Bubblegum’s stubborn rationalism against a whole city of frauds in robes, and the jokes about fake wizard credentials land more often than not. The pacing sags in the middle when the plot turns into a chase through the streets, but the ending gives PB a satisfying moment of smug vindication. Worth a watch for the science-versus-magic gag alone.
