Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Finn and Jake chase the Lich through a dimensional portal where they meet Prismo, who tells them that the Lich wished for the extinction of all life. This leads Finn to wish that the Lich “never even ever existed.
Our Take
A strong season opener that trades the usual silly adventures for something darker and more thoughtful. Prismo is a fun new addition, and the alternate-timeline setup gives Finn a genuinely heavy dilemma to chew on. The pacing occasionally stalls while the wish mechanics get explained, but the stakes feel real in a way the show rarely attempts. Worth your time, especially if the Lich arc has been building for you.
