Episode Summary & Review
Summary
With the evil Lich seemingly defeated, Finn and Jake are uneasy with their success because of its great cost.
Our Take
A surprisingly heavy half-hour that deals with the fallout of the Lich fight rather than the fight itself. The shift in tone works, and watching Princess Bubblegum’s fragile state gives the episode real weight, though younger viewers might find the ending abrupt and a bit sad. It’s a good sign the show is willing to let consequences stick. Worth your time.
