Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Finn creates a Never-Ending Pie-Throwing Robot (Neptr) to prank Jake, but it unexpectedly comes to life! Yet when he decides to use some of the Ice King’s power to further develop it, this ultimately leads to a moral dilemma for the new living machine.
Our Take
A middling early episode that leans hard on the Ice King for laughs while Finn’s little robot mostly just throws pies. The father-son stuff between Finn and Neptr has some sweetness to it, but the jokes are hit-or-miss and the whole thing feels slight even by season one standards. Fine if you’re watching straight through, but skippable otherwise.
