Our Take
Chicanery is the payoff hour the season has been building toward, and it mostly earns the wait. The courtroom material crackles, especially once Jimmy’s gambit with Rebecca lands, and Chuck’s unraveling is painful to watch in the best way. Some of the Kim subplot feels like table-setting, but the confrontation itself is strong enough to carry the episode. Worth your time.
