Our Take

Jesse, grieving and lost, finds purpose in his support group and then weaponizes it — using recovering addicts to move product, exactly as Saul suggests, exactly as Walt fears. Meanwhile, Walt’s cancer scare returns as a cough and a checkup, and the show plays the season’s cruelest ambiguity: does Walt want to live? Gale’s growing presence (and Gus’s growing patience with him) signals the replacement plan everyone can see coming.
