Summary

Walt moves into new digs and a distraught Walter Jr. demands to know just where his parents’ relationship stands. Meanwhile, Hank’s investigation is beginning to hit too close to home for Walt, causing serious concerns for him and Jesse.

Our Take

Hank finds Jesse’s RV through a junkyard lead, and Walt — inside the RV at that exact moment — improvises the most desperate play of the series: he walks out to face his brother-in-law as a fake phone call lures Hank away to a fake emergency. It works. It costs: Hank, humiliated and suspended for the beating he then delivers to Jesse, loses his gun and badge. And Jesse, face shattered on his own floor, becomes the show’s most dangerous variable — a victim with nothing left to lose.
