Episode Summary & Review
Summary
A psychedelic battle between past and present, light and dark and life and death plays out in the haunted psyche of an Imperial trooper who is on the cusp of defeat.
Our Take
BLACK wants to be a hypnotic art piece, but it’s mostly a confusing swirl of imagery that never earns its runtime. The trooper’s inner war has a few striking visuals, yet the psychedelic style ends up feeling like a screensaver with a lightsaber. Interesting as an experiment, but you can skip this one without missing much.
