Our Take
A big setup episode that mostly earns its spectacle, even if the pacing rushes past some emotional beats that deserved more room. The weapon reveal lands with real weight, and the stakes finally feel concrete. It’s a solid hour of mounting dread rather than payoff, so temper expectations going in. Worth watching, just don’t expect the season’s peak.
