Summary
Kai and Opal try to assist a struggling community in Earth Kingdom three years after Team Avatar was poisoned by Zaheer.
Our Take
A solid season opener that mostly works as a status check, catching up with everyone three years on and showing how the Earth Kingdom fell apart without Korra around to fix it. The Kai and Opal material is decent but feels like busywork compared to the glimpses of Korra herself. Worth watching for the setup, just don’t expect fireworks yet.
