Summary
Zaheer removes the hostages from the temple as Korra prepares to sacrifice herself for the other airbenders.
Our Take
This is a breathless hour that barely lets you sit still, with the rescue attempt going wrong in ways that feel earned rather than cruel. The flying fights are the best action the season has staged, and Zaheer finally gets a moment that makes his philosophy genuinely unsettling. It’s a setup episode that doesn’t feel like one, which is rare. Worth your time.
