Summary
Korra she enters a violent maelstrom and discovers a source of spiritual power.
Our Take
This one leans hard on CGI spectacle over story, and the Southern Water Tribe civil unrest plot moves at a crawl. The spirit portal sequence looks great, but Korra solving her problem mostly by punching her way through it feels like a step back. Unalaq remains a flat villain whose motivations don’t quite convince. Decent visuals, thin substance, and you won’t miss much if you skim it.
