Summary
Republic City gets bombarded by the Equalists.
Our Take
A full-on invasion episode that finally pays off the season’s slow burn. The airbender family escape is genuinely tense, Meelo gets a great moment, and Tenzin stepping up to fight lands hard. The ending with Korra’s tearful realization about Tarrlok is a strong gut-punch. Some of the mecha action gets a bit cartoonish, but this is a propulsive, satisfying hour.
