Summary
A transporter accident turns everyone but Spock into puppets as pirates invade the ship.
Our Take
The puppet gimmick gets a few good sight gags, but the pirates are bland and the episode leans too hard on “look how weird this is” without earning it. Spock carrying the emotional weight almost works, though the resolution rushes in. A mid-tier oddball hour that’s fine in the background but skippable if you’re behind.
