At a Federation celebration, an uninvited guest disrupts Spock and the crew’s reflections.
Our Take
A padded hour that spins its wheels on a wedding we all know can’t stick around. The comedic beats land occasionally, and the cast clearly enjoys playing dress-up, but the whole thing feels like a bottle episode with nothing in the bottle. Fine background viewing, though longtime fans may find the timeline tinkering more annoying than clever.
