Summary
An accident with an experimental quantum probability field causes everyone on the U.S.S. Enterprise to break uncontrollably into song, but the real danger is that the field is expanding and beginning to impact other ships, allies and enemies alike.
Our Take
The musical gimmick is handled with more sincerity than you’d expect, and a few numbers genuinely land, but too many songs feel like filler that stops the story cold. The cast can mostly carry a tune, though the Klingon number is rough. Fun as a one-off experiment, and the comedy mostly works, but it’s skippable if musicals aren’t your thing.
