Summary
An accident while investigating a time portal sends Ensigns Beckett Mariner and Bradward Boimler through time from the 24th Century, and Captain Pike and his crew must get them back where they belong before they can alter the timeline.
Our Take
The live-action Lower Decks crossover shouldn’t work as well as it does, but Tawny Newsome and Jack Quaid slide into live action like they never left it, and the whole cast clearly had a blast. Some of the meta jokes are a bit winky, and Boimler’s panic routine wears thin, but it’s a light, funny hour that earns the gimmick. Worth it for the comedy alone.
