Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Just as Captain Pike thinks he’s figured out how to escape his fate, he’s visited by his future self, who shows him the consequences of his actions.
Our Take
A strong season closer that leans into classic Trek, revisiting a famous original series standoff with a fresh time twist. Anson Mount sells both versions of Pike, and the moral dilemma lands because the show earned it across ten episodes. The pacing sags a bit in the middle, but the ending sticks. Worth it for anyone who’s come this far.
