Summary

Our Take
A solid setup that leans hard on mood over story, and mostly gets away with it. Sonequa Martin-Green carries the whole hour, though the Klingon scenes drag badly and the subtitles don’t help. The cliffhanger ending lands well enough that you’ll want to keep going, even if the reboot-style visuals take some getting used to for old fans.
