Season 4 opens on a strange, dreamlike note, and the slower pace mostly works in its favor. Antony Starr gets some quiet material that shows a different side of Lucas, though the serial killer thread feels a bit generic so far. It’s a moody reset rather than a thrill ride, but the atmosphere pulls you in enough to stick around.
