Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Part 1 of two. Shane risks her life when she volunteers to fight with another squadron, led by a former boyfriend, against an enemy spacecraft.
Our Take
A tense hour that finally gives Shane’s backstory some real weight, and the awkward reunion with her ex adds genuine friction instead of cheap drama. The dogfight sequences hold up surprisingly well, though the middle stretch aboard the ship drags a bit. It ends on a cliffhanger strong enough that you’ll want to queue up part two right away.
