Our Review
A media dynasty’s awful adult children claw for their father’s approval while he tortures them for sport. Succession is the funniest tragedy on television: every episode is a corporate crisis staged like a war room, and every insult is a poem. Brian Cox’s Logan Roy is the king everyone wants to overthrow and no one can.
Jeremy Strong, Sarah Snook, Kieran Culkin, and Matthew Macfadyen’s Tom deliver an ensemble with no weak link. It ended at its peak, which almost nothing does. The final season is one of the great closing acts in TV.
