Summary
Unable to get work done from inside the Parks Department, Leslie forms a citizen action group and fights from the outside. Meanwhile, everyone in the office brainstorms ideas for what to get Leslie for Christmas.
Our Take
A sweet holiday episode that leans on the show’s warm heart without getting sappy. Leslie channeling her energy into a citizen action group gives Amy Poehler plenty to work with, and the gift brainstorming subplot delivers some of the season’s best ensemble comedy. A few bits feel like retreads, but it’s an easy, satisfying half hour.
