Summary
Leslie tries to convince Chris and Ben to give the parks department more money, and when she fails to persuade them, she enlists Ann’s help. Meanwhile, Ron and Andy coach youth basketball, and April returns with surprising news.
Our Take
A confident return that shows off the show’s new energy, with Rob Lowe and Adam Scott sliding into the cast like they’d always been there. Ron coaching youth basketball while openly hating children is a highlight, and April’s news sets up the season nicely. A couple of jokes miss, but the pacing is noticeably tighter than season two. Worth your time.
