Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Leslie is outraged when Ron wins a “Woman of the Year” award for a project she started. Meanwhile, Tom is do or die to find some money to invest in a local Pawnee club.
Our Take
A great showcase for the Leslie and Ron dynamic, with Ron’s stubborn brand of respect quietly doing more emotional work than the show lets on. Aziz Ansari gets some solid material chasing his club investment too. The pacing drags a bit in the middle but the ending lands. Well worth your time, even if it’s not the season’s peak.
