Summary
Dwight convinces Andy to let him install a doomsday device that sends an e-mail to Robert California after the office makes five mistakes.
Our Take
A solid mid-season entry that leans hard on Dwight’s worst impulses, which mostly pays off. The doomsday machine gimmick gives everyone a reason to panic and produces some good frantic group moments, though the ending wraps up a bit too neatly. Worth watching for Dwight fans, but it won’t convert anyone who’s been cooling on season 8.
