Summary
Pam insists on waiting until after midnight to check in to the hospital; Dwight and Angela make a business agreement to have their own baby.
Our Take
Pam and Jim’s hospital wait is a great setup because it lets the whole supporting cast bounce off the situation, and Jim’s panic when he realizes they might have jumped the gun too early is genuinely funny. The Dwight and Angela contract subplot sounds creepy on paper but plays as absurdly deadpan instead. A strong first half that earns the two-part treatment.
