Summary
Michael is upset when Jim allows Phyllis to be the office Santa for Christmas.
Our Take
A middling Christmas episode that coasts on seasonal goodwill rather than actual jokes. The Santa standoff between Michael and Phyllis has its moments, mostly thanks to Steve Carell’s committed pouting, but the Ayn Rand subplot feels like filler. Pleasant enough if you’re doing a holiday rewatch, though it won’t change your mind about anything.
