Summary
A documentary crew arrives at Dundler Mifflin to observe the workplace. Michael Scott tries to paint a happy picture while facing potential downsizing.
Our Take
A rough but promising start. Steve Carell lands the cringe comedy even if Michael feels a bit meaner here than he’d later become, and Jim and Pam’s chemistry is already doing quiet work in the background. Some jokes whiff and the mockumentary rhythm isn’t fully cooked yet, but it’s a solid setup hour worth a watch.
