Rick, along with the president and Dr. Wong, deal with a situation when a former lover of Rick takes over Virginia.
Our Take
A surprisingly grounded episode that leans into Rick’s therapy arc with Dr. Wong, and the President pairing keeps the comedy buzzing. The ex-girlfriend plot is mostly an excuse for that dynamic, but it works. Some jokes run longer than they should, and the emotional beats are lighter than they could have been, but it’s a solid, funny hour.
