Summary
The Smiths celebrate one of their favourite holidays while Summer and Morty lock into their new ultra realistic video game console.
Our Take
A weirdly intimate episode that goes all in on Beth and her space clone, and it’s funnier and more uncomfortable than it has any right to be. The video game subplot with Summer and Morty mostly treads water, but the central pairing mines real comedy and some surprising emotion out of Beth’s self-obsession. Worth it for anyone curious how far the show will push a concept.
