Episode Summary & Review
Summary
With the rest of the family out of town on a cruise, Rick is left to his own devices at home and decides it’s time to reconnect with an old friend.
Our Take
A surprisingly quiet, introspective hour that trades the usual sci-fi chaos for a deep dive into Rick’s head, literally. The Birdperson material lands emotionally, though the pacing drags in the middle stretch. Worth watching for fans who like when the show gets personal, even if it’s not the funniest episode of the season.
