Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Rick and Beth sort out issues from her childhood by visiting a world called Froopyland. Morty and Summer are a little wary of Jerry’s new girlfriend.
Our Take
A heavy one that digs into Rick and Beth’s relationship, and it mostly earns the discomfort. Sarah Chalke gets real material to work with here, and the Froopyland reveal lands with genuine creepiness. The Jerry subplot is thin by comparison, but the main story’s dark ending makes this one of the season’s more memorable hours.
