Summary
While ostensibly helping a group of superheroes called the Vindicators, Rick instead drunkenly sets up a “Saw”-like scenario for them to navigate.
Our Take
A lean, mean parody that mostly hits. The Saw-style death traps give the episode real momentum, and the superhero takedowns land harder because they’re so mean-spirited. The drunk-Rick conceit wears a bit thin by the back half, and Morty’s frustration is the same beat we’ve seen before. Still, it’s fast, funny, and doesn’t overstay its welcome. Worth your time.
