Summary
The guys crash Dee’s bowling league night and compete in a Battle of the Sexes at a bowling alley owned by the McPoyles. Dee, The Waitress, Artemis, and Gail the Snail versus Dennis, Mac, Charlie, and Frank in a classic match to prove once and for all who has the upper hand in sports.
Our Take
A fun premise that leans into old school sitcom territory, and the McPoyle-owned alley is a nice touch of gross-out nostalgia. The bowling showdown has some solid gags, especially anything involving Artemis, but the middle sags when the trash talk runs longer than the jokes. Worth a watch for the payoff, just don’t expect a season highlight.
