Summary
Upon discovering that their self made Lethal Weapon sequels have been pulled from the local library, the Gang decides to address their political incorrectness by making another film — Lethal Weapon 7.
Our Take
The callback premise had potential, but the meta-apology angle gets tired fast and the gang feels like they’re spinning in place. A few solid gags, mostly from Mac and Frank, can’t disguise how thin the whole thing is. It’s watchable if you’re already deep in the season, but this is one of those episodes you’ll barely remember by next week.
