Episode Summary & Review
Summary
When a trendy new hair salon opens up right next door to Paddy’s, Dennis and Frank go on the offensive to stop women from cutting off their hair. Meanwhile, Mac is reunited with his childhood dog Poppins..
Our Take
The salon war premise has some solid Dennis meltdowns, and Frank weaponizing weirdness next door earns a few real laughs. The Poppins subplot is thinner than it should be, though, and the dog stuff mostly coasts on sentiment the show usually mocks. A middle-of-the-road episode with enough unhinged Dennis to justify watching, but you won’t miss much skipping it.
